Originally self-released on CD-R in an edition of 8 copies, and now sold out, The Inevitable Reality is the 17th full-length release from Cory Strand's desolate drone project Eugene Critchley. Comprising two 30-minute tracks, Inevitable Reality is another emotionally wrenching release from the moniker, utilizing samples of film dialogue and long low rumbles to build an atmosphere that is as bleak and expansive as anything you'll ever hear, and as depressive, existential and pressing as you expect from the artist.
